CCHR is a non-profit mental health watchdog, responsible for helping to enact more than 150 laws protecting individuals from abusive or coercive psychiatric practices. CCHR has also been the primary mental health watchdog seeking to enact informed consent into the field of mental health – a practice which is virtually non-existent in the psychiatric/mental health industry.
